Do you rent canoes?
No. We do not rent canoes. However, our double kayaks are similar in that you can put two adults and two small children in them.
What payment forms do you accept?
We accept debit, all types of credit, and cash (also gift cards).
Why will the booking system not let me book on the weekends?
We are no longer doing pre-bookings on the weekends. We are operating walk-in style. We have tons of equipment though so you should have no problem getting a boat!
Do you have group discounts?
Yes, we do, please see our "Groups" section under the "Rentals" page
What happens if there is inclement weather?
We will close for the safety of our customers and staff. We will contact you to reschedule your session!
Do you have a place to store my belongings?
No – we are unable to store belongings. We ask to keep either ID, car keys, wallet, card, etc. as a deposit while you’re out but other than that we cannot keep anything. We also offer complimentary splashproof bags that you can take out with you and keep non-valuables in.
What should I wear?
Comfortable active wear, swimsuits, or wetsuits are all appropriate. Dress according to the weather. Be prepared to get a little wet.
Am I able to rent if I haven’t paddled before?
Yes, many of our customers are beginners. Our equipment is beginner-friendly. However, we always encourage the buddy system when renting for your safety.

Can I bring my own lifejacket?
You are welcome to bring your own lifejacket if you own one. We will always provide you with one if you need one.
Is there a lifeguard on site?
No. Long Lake Provincial Park is a non-lifeguarded lake. You are paddling at your own risk. Please see our rental agreement and release agreement here to review what you are responsible for as a renter from Long Lake Adventure Company.
